Unfortunately, Red Square was closed to tourists in preparation for their Victory Day celebration.
The Kremlin wall.
Part of our visit to the Kremlin included a tour of one of the oldest museums in Moscow, the Kremlin Armoury, established in 1808 but begun as the royal arsenal in 1508. It produced, purchased and stored weapons, jewelry and various household articles of the tsars. Among other treasures, ten Fabrege eggs are housed here. (No photos allowed.)
Near the armory is the Annunciation Cathedral.
